DISTRICT NEWS.
KEREPEEHI. THE HALL. Good progress is being made with the erection of the new hall at Kerepeehi. The frame of the building is nearing completion. The hall Will closely resemble the Netherton Public Hall, except that a gallery will be provided above the stall and dressing rooms. The width of th© building will be 35ft and the length of the auditorium 50ft, while the stage will be 16ft deep and 18ft will be occupied, by the dressing-rooms, entrance, and stall. The picture-operating box will be above the porch, and alongside the building will be a supper-room 40ft by 16,ft, and a kitchen 16ft by 10ft. Mr A. J. innis, the owner and builder, hopes to have the hall ready for opening in February.
