MONDAY’iS SITTING AT PAEBQA. APPLICATIONS DEALT WITH. (Before Mr F. W. Platts, Warden.) Joseph Bramble applied 'Bor a prospecting license in respect of 100 acres at ‘Waitekauri. —Granted. H. A. Meagher applied for a reduc,ticn in working, conditions at the, Crown mine to two men for six months. A declarati’on. in support was put in by Mr E. A. Porritt. The Warden recommended that the application be granted. Eliza Adams, widqw of the late H. H. Adams, applied' for protection in respec.t of the Kqmata Reefs S.Q.C. for six months, and also in respect of several special sites to enable the estate of her late husband to be realised.—Granted. Mrs Adams also applied for a reduction of rent to Is per acre for 12 months on t’he same claim, and the Warden recommended that the Minister grant the application. J. B. Morris applied for protection of th© Why-Not S.Q.C. No. 9501 and th© Earl of Glasgow S-Q.C. No. 598. This was taken in connection with the fallowing application. James Williams applied for protection in respect of the Talisman Dubbo S.Q.C. No. 9486. A declaration by M. H. Wynyard, Oh behalf of McCallum Bros,, was put in by Mr E. A. Porritt, and the Warden granted protection as desired. S. A. Shaw appfied for. a reduction in the working conditions from four men to two men in the Hauraki mine for six months.—Granted. tOhinemuri Gold and Silver Mines, Ltd., applied for a prospecting, license over land at waitekauri.—Granted. Richard Craig applied for a rene.wal of his prospecting license in respect of property at Waitekauri. — Granted.
