PERSONAL.
Mr M. Poland, of the local staff of the Bank of New Zealand, has been transferred to Rotorua, and leaves for that place on Saturday, next. Mr O. G. Thornton, resident engineer * of the Public Work-A Department, leaves Paeroa to-day, en route tq Gisborne, where he has been transferred on promotion. Mr C. James, of the Ohura suboffice of the Public Works Department, Taumarunui district, is to replace Mr.J. A. Wilkinson, who has / been transferred in chargje of ®he Gisbqrne office. Mr Wilkinson will leave; Paeroa next week.
