The club nights arranged are Tuesdays and Thursday from 7.30 to 9.30 o’clock, and the custodian has appointed by the committee to be in charge. We regret to recor.d the death of Miss Gertrude Phillips, who passed away at hey home at Paeroa yesterday after a long illness. The deceased was the youngest daughter of Mr. John and. the late Mrs Phillips, of Paeroa. She was of a quiet and unassuming nature, and gaiirqd the affection of all those with whom she came in contac.t. To her bereaved relatives' much sympathy is extended.
