HAURAKI PLAINS MATCHES.

INTER-CLUB COMPETITION.

The first of the Haurajri Plains Cricket Association’s inter-club competition matches were completed on Saturday last in good weather. Threepoint wins were secured by Ngatea, Waitakaruru, and Orongo. WAITAKARURU V. KOPUARAHI. On the previous Saturday Waitakar.ur.u made 71 for five wickets, with A. Kenny 35 not out and C. Stretton 6 not out. Kennedy did not turn out for thq second day, but Stretton brought his total up to 31. The innings ended with a total of 115 runs, as compared with Kopuarahi.’s 90. In the second innings Kopuarahi mMe 52 r.uns, and Waitakaruru secured a three-point win with a margin of 22 runs. are as follows :■—
