POSSIBILITY OF PETITION. MR. LYE SEEKING LEGAL ADVICE. HAMILTON, November 20. There is a possibility of steps being taken to; unseat .the Hon. J. A. Young as member for, Hamilton. Mr S- C. G. Lye, United candidate for Hamilton, is taking legal advice in Auckland to ascertain whether he has grounds for lodging a petition against the elec,tion of Mr Young. It is understood that the grounds of the application are alleged; violation bf the secrecy of the ballot in Connection with the vote of a sick woman in Claudelands. Developments may be expected wfithih a day or two.
