HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co. t Ltd. t report:— “At our weekly stock market in the Frankton yards on Tuesday last we had a fair entry of fat cattle, and prices were firm. Light to mqdium fat steers Jl2 2s to £l3 ; small and young £lO 8s ; medium-weight prime yQui]|g cows and heifers £l2 2s 6d to £l3 18s; heavy fat cows £ll to £l3 3s; lig’ht young cows and heifers £9 to £ll 7s; rough and plain cows £7 15s to £8 ss; boner cows £5 158 to £6 5.5. The full number of advertised store, cattle came fqrward, buyers being present from all parts of the Waikato, and all classes submitted drew keen competition and firm rates. 2-year steers, mixed colours, £6 18s to £7 16s; extra good well-grown 15-months S. H. steers £7 7s to £8 ; same age, good, £6 tq £6 16s; small £3 12s to £4 18s ; gobd-flamed store cows £6 5s to £6 14s ; best dairy cows and heifers at profit £l2 15s to £l3 ; others £8 to £lO-. >
“A good number of fat slheep were penned, and values eased on previous rates from 2s to 3s per head. Fat wet'hers in wool sold t'o £2.' Early shorn fa,t wethers 335; fat ewes in wool 29s to 32s 6d; prime young shorn maiden ewqs 26s 9d; fat hioggets in wqol 34s to 36s !|d ;heavy fat ewes shorn 22s 6d to 23s 6d ; medium shorn 19s to 19s 6d ; aged! shorn: ewes with 110 per cent, lambs 33s 7d.
