TURUA STOCK SALE. A good sale, is reported by Messrs A. Buc.kland and Son? at Turua on Friday last, when an average-sized yarding was completely cleared. Owing to the advancement qf the dairying season there were practically no springers. but all other classes weye yarded in fair numbers.
Prime young, beef cows and heifers sold at from £9 5s to £ll 17s 6d, others £7 to £8 17s 6d ; good freshconditioned cows £6 tq £6 15s, boniers £3 to £5 17s 6d ; yearling, Jersey hejfers up to 18-months £4 3s to £6 ss. best quality 18-month to 2%-year-old herd bulls £7 7s to £l2 12s, bulls fqr potting £2 10s to £B. Fat woolly hogge,ts up to £1 ,14s 3d.
NGATEA STOCK SALE.
Stock brought very gqod 1 pric.es at the monthly sale conducted! by the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., at Ngatea yesterday, a full yarding changing hands under keen competition. Best dairy c.ows and heifers sold at prices up to £l2, others from £7 19s tq £9 10s, and backward springers from £5 10s to £7 ss.
In the beef classes he;avy prime cows brought from £lO 10s to £l2, light £8 10s to £lO ss; good forward and young killable cows £6 10s to £8 ; bqners £5 to £7 ; good store cows £4 10s to £5 15s ; cows with calves £7 to £lO 5s ; yearling steers £4 5s to £5 5s ; yearling Jersey heifqrs £5 5s to £6 7s Gd. ordinary mixed yearling heifers £4 to £5 2s Gd; bulls £4 4s to £l2 12s, potter? £3 3s to £9 14s.
