CATHOLIC BAZAAR.
FUNCTION IN GAIETY THEATRE. SUCCESS ATTENDS EFFORT. The Catholic Bazaar, was opened yesterday in the Gaiety Theatre. On entering the building oqe was struck with the enormous amount of preparation that has been made for. this grept event, and t’he ladies who were, mainly, if not wholly, responsible for the carrying, out at the bazaar are to be complimented on their efforts. A row of nikau palms had been; placed down the centre oi the buikli-nig, and under these seating accommodation was provided. The stalls were arranged’ on either side of the buliding, and streamers of various colours were interwove,n among nikau palms and the fixtures. The stalls were ladeji with all manker of saleable and every-day commodities marked at prices which should -command a ready sale-. In i'ac.t. as soon as the doors were opened ve ; - te.rday th e public realised the bargains that were offering. Some: of the needlework was remarkably wall finished, and 1 attracted the admiration bf patrons to the bazaar. ’

Treanor, Maiy Bertelsen, Norma. Ryall. Eileen Ryall, V. Charlesworth, Ruby Tierney, M. Treanor, M. Handley, L. Poland.
Refreshment Room; Mqsdames Armour, Goonan, W. Pennell, Neilson, Ryall, Verran. Tho bazaar is being continued this afternoon an,d evening.
