OBITUARY.
WILIJAM GEORGE HILL. The death of a local resident. Mr W. G. Hill, took place at the W.hangarei Hospital on Monday last. Deceased was born in Wan|ganui' 62 years ago, anff> . when : quite a child, xvas brought by his parents to Thames, and has resided on the goldfields ever since. When he was eleven years of age his father was drowned at Thames. The late Mr Hill was married at Thames, a.ndi followed! the pursuit of milling there and at Karangahake. For the Ifljst ten; years he was a resident of Paeroa, and was employed until recently by the; Public Works Department. His wife predeceased liim some six years ago. Deceased was a member of the; Stay of Paeroa Lodge of Druids. He leaves two daughters in Taranaki, two sons at Whanga.rei, and 1 seven grandchildren to ’mourn their loss.
