It’s the same with the inmates of our homes and refugees. The old folks spending the evening of their days in these institutions prize th© stick of tobacco served out to them once a week more than anything else. They know the comfort and solace of it. Does smoking harm all these people ? It harms nobody so long as the tobacco is pure and of good quality. Unfortunately, the imported brands are full of nicotine. And it’s nicotine in excess that does the harm when harm arises. Perhaps the purest tobaccos in the world are grown and manufactured in New Zealand. And they are comparatively free from nicotine.
