The world’s biggest meat pie was made at Dendy Dale-, Yorkshire village, recently. It contained five bullocks, 15c,wt. and was baked in one dish, 16 feet long and five feet wide. It took 20 men 80 minutes to get it out of the oven. The crust sonained 80 stone of flout. 4cwt. of lard, and 281 b Of baking powder. Nearly 20,000' people received a share of the pie. This pie was made to raise funds for. the Huddersfield In!firmarr. Tlies.e piqs owe their origin to the recovery fr.qm a dangerous illness.
