NOTICE is hereby given that at a Specail Meeting ol the Paeroa Borough Council held on Thursday, the 13th September, 1928, it was resolved by special order to make By-laws, the object and purport of which are as follows : — „ - ~ „ 1. Prescribing fees under the Health Act Regulations for Eatinghouses, Bakehouses, places for mincing and otherwise preparing meat for sale, Butchers’ Shops, Fish Shops, Milk Shops, Milk Stores, premises for the sale or manufacture of Ice Cream, premises for the sale or manufacture of Cordials, Aerated Waters, Beverages or Syrups. 2. Licensing of Street Stalls. 3. Controlling Street Collections. . „ . . 4. Registration of Hairdressers Shops. r 5. Licensing and control ol hoardings for advertising, etc. 6. Prohibiting the obstruction of streets and footpaths by loitering and disturbing the peace. 7. Defining the proper use of streets* 8. Prescribing times during which vehicles shall carry lights, and bicycles shall carry rear reflectors. _ A 9. Amending By-law No. 1 as to Carriage License Fees. 10. Amending By-law No. 1 by adding provisions as to Dangerous Driving, Speed Limit, Vehicles standing in Streets, Parking of Vehicles, Powers of Traffic Inspector, Places for Parking Cars, Stands for Licensed Vehicles. 11. Amending the definition of “ Heavy Traffic ” in By-law No. 1. 12. Amending the definition of Area No. 1 (relating t ; o Brick Area) to include certain land having a frontage to Princes Street* 13. Amending By-law No. 1 by substituting certain provisions as to construction of Verandahs, Signs on Verandahs, and adding certain provisions as to Signs on Buildings, etc. 14. Prescribing a time limit for commencing and completing building operations. 15. Making provision with regard to temporary and permanent crossings over footways. 16. Amending certain water charges. 17. Prescribing fee for inspection of Petrol Pumps, etc. 18, Amending the provisions of By-law No. 1 as to Buildings and enclosures for public meetings, and the license fees payable therefor. 19. Amending the registration fee payable for Boardinghouses. 20. Amending the Dog Registration Fee. 21. Repealing certain provisions of By-law No. 1. . 22. Providing Regulations in respect of the Swimming Baths.
