Paeroa High School had hoped tb bring back the shield which they la=lt for the. first .time last year, but their hopes were again doomed to disappointmentThe first match, against, Te Aroha, resulted in a good win! for Paeroa, 36 to. 20. They then played Morrinsville, who have not even; been a[ble to put in a team for .the last two year?:, and lost by one; goal the score being 20 to 18. The- plucky winning, fight put up by Mcrrinsville gained for them the undivided congratulations of the two losing tea.ms 1 -
