On.e of the Lands Drainage Deparrment’s floating dredges is now engaged clearing out slips and building up depressions in the Piako River. stop-banks l between Ngatea and Kerepeehi. With the exception of the central Span, the new bridge over the Awaiti canal at Kerepeehi on the new outlet for the Kaiher.e disrict is nearing completion.
