TURUA STOCK SALE. . There was a full yarding at the monthly stock sale conducted, at Turua by Messrs A. Buckland and Sons, Ltd 1 ., and a ready demand for beef and dairy cows .was met with. Best quality young cows and heifersi at profit, brought from £lO to £l2 15s, and more backward fom £7 15s to, £9 ss. No .extra heavy cows were, yarded, but good pr.ime young cows and heifers brought from £9 to £ll 17js 6d, with medium weights from £8 to £8 15s .and lighter from £6 5s to, £7 10s. and store and bon,er cows frejm £3 'ss t’o £'o 15s. Yearling Jersey heifers brought from £4 15s for the best and from £3 2s 6d upward for others.
