WEDDING.
ROWLINSON — FISHER. .On Wednesday, September 5, the Anglican Church, Tur.ua, was the scene of a pret.ty wedding, when Alice Mabel, elde t daughter of Mr and Mrs .Walter Fisher, was married to Joseph William, third son of Mr and Mrs C. Rowlinson, of Tauranga. Rev. Maddison performed the cere;mo;ny. The. bride, was given away by her father, and wore a frock of pale cream embossed crepe de chine, trimmed with silver lace. Her embroidered net veil was held 'in position by a coronjet; of orange blossoms. The Misses Bertha and Charlotte Fisher attended their sister as bridesmaids. Miss Bertha was dressed in a fr.ock o*f rose pink crepe de chine trimmed with gold lace, and Miss Charlotte was attired in sea green crepe de chine: with gold lace. The flower-girl, Beryl Fisher, was attired in a pretty of crepe de chine. Mr Amos Fisher acted as best man, and Mr. Alexander Elvin as: groomsman. After the ceremony the guests we 1 ’ 6 entertained in) the Turua Hall, the bride’s mother receiving her guests in a bare de rose wool repp frock trimmed with fawn, and hat to tone. The bridegroom’s gifts to the bridesmaids, were, gold snake a' r ml»ta, and to the. flower-girl a cameo brooch. Later in the afternoon the happy couple left for Rotorua, the bride, travelling in a. cinnamon frock of repp trimmed with crocodile crepe de chine, with liajt to tone.
