The length of’ railway and road that should bq moved to higher cquntry was about two miles. The Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates,. Minister for Railways, replied that he was arranging for the department’s engineers to investigate this mattqr, and would communicate with Mr Macmillan at a later date.
