TRUSTEES FOR NEW DISTRICT. NINE NOMINATIONS RECEIVED. Nominations for. the position of trustees for the Netherton Drainage District closed with the returning officer, Mr J. E. Green, yesterday, and the following- have offieredi their services :— Messrs G. Buchanan, E. A. Chester, B. Halligan, H. J. Hane, H. E. Hill, E. Ja,mieso,n, F. T, V. Johnson, J- A. Reid, and J. Waleeham. As the board will consist of five members, only, a poll will be held at Netherton on Wednesday, September. 12.
