Sir., —After very carefully reading Hie beautiful poem and also letter by “Pro Bono Publico,” 1 wish to say it is iiuile untrue that the lassies we,re in and out and round about, seeing tlia.t they stayed outside the domain, gates from 1-30 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Tuesday. “Pro Bono, Publico” woiuld b'e- surprised if he knew how the lassies helped the footba.il collection. If any person- cares to call on me 1 will explain just how it was done. 1 may say that the boxes were labelled, and the public were also, told where the nittnpy was going. If .“Pro Bono, P-üblico’s” eyes are s.o badly affected that he could not Read the labels on tlie boxes 1 ‘have a. powerful pa.ir of glasses which I will gladly give, him. “We will pass by .this way but once.
