PAEROA LADIES’ CLUB. LAST SATURDAY’S RESULTS. On Saturday afternoon the P/icyot A and B teams eacli played a mate! on. tlie local domain and attrautci considerable interest. The first game played -was betweih the A team and the Kerepeehi B teair and resulted in a win for the. local eleven by 10 goals to 0. The game was: rather one-sided, the local tean: being superior in all departments anti able to score, almost whenever, they wished. Although soundly beaten, the Kerepeehi players deserve credit fQi the way they stuck ,to their formidable opponents. The scorers for Paeroa were Misses V. Shand (4), P Pivott (2), A. O’Neil (2), C. Swann and M. Hartley. . HIKUTAIA DEFEATS PAEROA B. The- Paeroa B team had to acknowledge defeat at the hands of the. newly formed Hikutaia team on Saturday when the visitors gained their first victory. The game was fairly- 'even, and play was fast and Qpc-n, with Hikutaia on. the attack almost throiighqut the second half. For. the visitors the two goals were netted by Miss J. Alley, and Miss D. Wil®on scored for-Paeroa B. Mr L. Mahon, refereed both matches At the conclusion of Play the members of the home side- were- guests oi the Hikutaia team to afternoon, tea. at th eParish Hall.

IIAURAKI PLAINS TEAMS. VISIT TO AUCKLAND. Two teams representing the Haur.aki Plains. Ladies’ Hockey Association visited Auckland on.i Saturday last and played the, >Mt. Eden Club’s teams. The A team was beaten by H. poin.ts to 1, but the B team won by two goals to o.ne. Scorers fon the Plains teams were Miss M. Courtney in the A match and Misses T. McKcrehar and E. Small in the B match.
