PURSUANT to Section 10 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” the provisions of Section 8 of “ The Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926,” having been'complied with, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN • 1. That it is the intention of the Hauraki Plains County Council to borrow the sum of £5OOO for the construction of roads as set out hereunder : (a) Main Road, Pollen’s Outlet to Northern Riding Boundary. (b) Patetonga Landing Road. (c) Top Road, Southern County Boundary to Woodyard’s Corner. (d) Mangawhero Road. 2. That as security for the payment of the interest and sinking fund and other charges on the said Loan it is the intention of the said Council to make and levy a Special Rate of One penpy three-farthings (1-M) i n the £ on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property in the Patetonga Riding Roads Loan Special Rating Area. 3. That it is not the intention of the said Council to pay out of the Loan the costs of .raising the Loan or the first year’s interest and sinking fund on the Loan. 4. That it is the intention of the said Council to establish a Sinking Fund of 4f per cent, per annum for the repayment of the Loan, or alternatively to repay the Loan by Thirty (30) halfyearly equal instalments of interest and principal. 5. That the said Loan is for a period of Fifteen (15) years at a rate of interest not exceeding 6 per cent, pqr annum. The said Special Rating Area includes the whole of Patetonga Riding as at present constituted, with the exception of the foL lowing :— Section 1 and Lots 1,2, 3,4, 5, and 6 of‘ Section 6, Block 1., Waitoa S.D.
