HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— At Frankton on Tuesday we’ had a good yarding of prime beef, with prices very firm nt advancecli rates ; a fair-entry of prime quality mutton which sold at improved pr'ces on the previous week’s sale; and a small entry of store sheer) which met with good competition. Fat .and stope pigs were; penned in good numbers, with prices again firm. Fat steers £l4‘ 12s 6d ; extra prime fat heifers £ll 10s to ,£l4, the latter, . price being obtained for one heifer on account of Mr T. C. Blackett. Extra prime; heavy cows £l3, on account of the same vendor. Prime fat cows £lO 10s to £ll 8s; fat cows £8 7s 6d to £lO ; fat heifers £lO to. £ll 4s j» plain and unfinished cows £6 to £6 17si 6d; dealers £2 16s, store cows £2 15s to £4, heifer calves 27s to £2 6s. choice dairy cows £l2 10's to £l7, 'others £7 to £8 10s, springing heifers £9. Extra prime heavy fat wethers 45& Id to 45s 3d ; light fat .wethers 37s 3d; prime' fat e;wes 42s 6d ; low con- „ dltion cull ewes in lamb 10s 6d. A loen, of 300 S.M. ewes in lamb to S.D. rams made from 31s. 6dl to 335. Medium wegjht bacone-rsi £3 8s to £3 12s. No heavy tv’.ce-'ers yarded. Light baconers £3 to £3 4S ; heavy porkers £2 10s to £3 ; light porkers 345, to £2 4s; slips 18s to 21s; weaners 10s to 15s.
