The .service cars running between this district and Auckland had unenviable experiences during the weekend. One car, which, should have reached Paeroa from Auckland' shortly after nine o’clock last night, did not arrive until after 2 o’clock this morning, having been delayed by floodwater across, the road at Maiigatawhiri Valley and Surrey Flats. There has also been ajjig slip on the ma'n paeroa-Waihi road near the Waikino bridge. All traffic was delayed at this point last night, but traffic is getting through without much difficulty this morning.
