ON THURSDAY, 12TH JULY, 1928, a Special “ Farmers’ Excursion ” train will leave TANEATUA for AUCKLAND at 9.0 a.m., Kiwinui 9.15, Matata 9.58, Paengaroa 10.55, Te Puke 11.12, Strand arrive 11.45 a.m., depart 12.18 p.m., Tauranga 12.22, Oniokoroa 12.47, Katikati 1.22, Waihi 2.14, Paeroa 2.58, arriving Auckland 7.19 p.m. This train will stop for passengers if required at all stations Taneatua to Waihi inclusive and at Paeroa. It will stop at Strand and Frankton Junction for refreshments. A Special return train will not be run. On application accommodation at Auckland will be arranged for excurxsionists by the Secretary of the Exhibition if desired. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council held on the' 23rd day of May, 1928, a resolution, the purport of which is set out hereunder, was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on the 12th day of July, 1928. Purport of Resolution. 1. That the speed of any motor car or motor cycle on any road within the County shall not exceed 35 miles per hour. 2. That the speed of any motor car or motor, cycle passingthrough any township or village within the County shall not exceed 20 miles per hour. 3. That the speed of any motor car or motor cycle passing any school within the County shall not exceed 15 miles per hour for a distance of 10 chains on either side of any school, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. A copy of the Hauraki Plains County By-law 1922, the Hauraki Plains County By-law Amendment 1925, and the proposed Amendment as contained in the said resolution, will be deposited for public inspection during office hours from June 9th to July 11th, 1928, at 4 p.m. Dated at Ngatea this 9th day day of June, 1928.
