WEDDING.

MORRIS—McKENNA.

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Paeroa, was the scene of a pretty wed.ling on Wednesday, May T 6, the contracting parties being Ivy Muriel, elder daughter-of Mr and Mrs W. J. McKenna, of Paeroa, and Leslie Victor, son of the late Sydney Morris and Mrs N. Morris, Ngaruawahia. The church had been prettily decorated by girl friends of the bride. The ceremony was performed, by the RevJ. Lowden. The bride, who was given, away by her father, was in a frock of ivory silk georgette over wjiite sptiii, dr,apings of georgette fropi the shoulder being held at the- waist with a diamante buckle. A spray of orange blossoms put a dainty finish to tile shoulder apd waist. The skirt was trimmed with fine silver lace. Her long embroidered tulle veil fell from a coronet of orange blossoms, and a shower bouquet of white chrysanthemums, pale pink rose-buds, and maiden-hair fern completed her toilette. Miss Madge Gunn and Miss Nellie Morland attended as bridesmaids, and were gowned in Victoria frocks of pale pink taffeta with silver trimmings. Their head-dresses were of pink tulle finished with silver leaves, and they carried bouquets in delicate shades. The bridegroom wa s accompanied by his brother, Mr E. Morris, and Mr C. Jesney, of Waikino. A reception was afterwards held at the Centenary Hall, Mrs McKenna.receiving her guests; in a frock of wedgewood blue silk crepe gazelle with trimmings of gold, and hat to tone. She carried a bouquet of gold chrysanthemums.

Later Mr and Mrs Morris left by car for New Plymouth and Napier, the bride wearing, a frock of nattier blue repp, hat to tone, and fox furs.
