Variety and merit of reproduction characterise the illustrations, in this week’s issue of the “N.Z. Sporting and Dramatic Review,” exclusive subjects from overseas and local sources being specially secured. The fine centre pages depict the British open golf championship, the latest' submarine, May queen festivities, and historical and religious ceremonies, in, England, and Belgium. The opening day of the Auckland Trotting Club’s winter meeting is graphically illustrated. The overseas section contains a wonderful selection of pictures, including the King reviewing the troops at Aidershot and the Prince of Wales opening the Royal Tweed Bridge.
