STILL WITHOUT CLAIM. POLICY OF £20,000. Although Jie carries a blanket publiability aviation, insurance policy cor £20,000 on any aircraft ihe may be flying, Colonel Charles A. Lindbergh has not presented a/single claim for damages in the thousands of miles he has flown since he piloted the Spirit of St. Louis from New York to Paris. This was announced by the Independent Fre and Independent Indemnity Insurance Companies of Philadelphia, which issued the policy to the trans-Atlantic flier before he left on his “good-will” flight to Central and South America. Te Spirit of St. Louis also wa.s in- ‘ sured by these .companies for £3600 from the time Colonel Lindbergh left San Diego, California, in it about a year ago until the famous machine -Avas turned oyer to the Smithsonian F institution. The Independent Companies also revealed that Alfred Loewenstein, the Belgian capitalist who is making an air tour of the United States in a ten- ■ passenger Fokker c,arries the largest aviantion 'insurahcei policy issued by. them. The pla>ne is insured against fire, accidental damage, wind theft for £9OOO in each instanc” The policy covers - everything except personal liability to the passengers. In addition Mr Loewenstein holds a public liability policy, excluding passengers, for £20,000 and a property damage policy with a £5OOO limit.
