NETTI ER TON. THEATRICAL COMPANY FORMED. A meeting convened by those interested in theatricals was held in the Netherton Hall last week, and was attended by many enthusiasts. Mr MA. Cartel- was in the chair. It was decided to form a, company, to be called t-hie “Albert Camden Theatrical Company,” for the purpose of producing entertainments of a light variety nature. Mr Carter was elected pre ‘dent for the coming year. Mr L. 0. East outlined his scheme, after which a short practice was held, creating much fun and amusement. Friday night was decided upon as practice night each week, until such progress is made as will necessitate further nights. The company is favoured in having Albert Camden as producer, as his experience in producing both amateur and professional is of a long and varied nature. Originality will be the keynote of the show, and many original and novel turns will be introduced, including a flying stunt over the audience by the ballet. A first-class orchestra, under the baton of Mrs C. Scudamore, will assist, while special scenery of d jazzy nature will be painted. The show will range from jazz to grand opera. The company has a vacancy for a. vivacious young lady as sou-bre-tte.
