HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— At Frankton we held our weekly stock sale on Tuesday and had a small yarding of beef, a good yarding of fat sheep, and a small yarding of store cattle ajicl sheep. There was a good entry of fat pigs, with a smaller entry of stores than, usual. With the exception of a few prime cows the quality' of beef was medium, with prices on a par with last week. Sheep were again firm at advanced 1 prices. Baconers were slightly easier, w'ith porkers on the improve. Stores and weaners met with good competition. We quote Prime heavy' cows £9 Ils ; fat lieifr ers £8 4s ; fat cows £7 Us to £7 18s,, plain and unfinished £6 2s 6d to £6 17s 6d ; forward cows £5 Is to £5 8s ; prime quality runners £5 to £5 Ils ; 2year Red Polled heifers in calf £7 12s ; Jersey- heifer calves £3 ; choice Jersey springing heifers £lO 10s; dairy cows £5 to £9 ; 3-year steers £6 12is,. mixed colours £5 15s.

Sheep.—Extra prime wethers £2 Is, fat wethers 37s lOd, small 34s Gd ; extra prime fat ewes 33s 6d ; prime fat iioggets-30s 2d ; small fat hoggets 22s lid, s.tore hoggets 19s 6d. Pigs.—Heavy baconers £4 5s to £4 Ils, medium £3 12s to £3 17si. light £3 to £3 ss; heavy porkers £2 6s to £2 12s, light 28s to 365.; slips 15s to 17s 6d; weaners 7s to 12s.
