At yesterday’s meeting of the Thames Valley Electriq Power Board the Pi.ako County Council wrote drawing attention to the fact that the board had been doing heavy carting from No. 1 Road to the Tahuna bridge, causing considerable damage. The council, requested that heavy parting on c.ounty roads be suspended during the winter months. Tlie board’s engineer’ said he did not think much damage had been done, but he. would note tlie complaint and advise the construction gauges.
