At a meeting of the Elstow Drain, age Board on Saturday last notification wa;S received from the State Advances Office that £3OOO of tihe Awaiti Special Rating Area loan of £5OOO had been remitted. Prior to the commencement of business at Monlay night’s meeting of the committee of the Paeroa Rugby Union a vote of condolence was accorded Mr E. p. Fathers in his recent bereavement.
