FATALITY NEAR SUMNER.

COLLAPSE ON CLIFF TOP. MAN DASHED T.O DEATH. CHRISTCHURCH, May 13. A former Canterbury representative footballer. Mr Arthur. Hobbs, aged 52, a well-known resident of Sumner, fell over a cliff at Scarborough yesterday and 1 was killed. Mr Hobbs set out from his home at about noon to walk to Taylor’s Mistake. He collapsed, probably from a heart attack, while walking on a path at the top of the cliff.
