WEDDING AT NGATEA.

STIMPSON—TAYLOB. A wedding of interest to Ngatea people was solemnised °P Tuesday, 3rd April, when Miss Jessie P. Taylor and M'r Frederick E. Stimpsdn, both of Ngatea, were married by the Rew. F. Nicholls, the ne.wly-appointed Pres? byterian minister. The Ngateachurch wap. tastefully decorated) for the occasion, and it was filled to overflowing.

The bride, who was given away by Mr W- Lawrence, of Ngateja, was gowned in ivory crepe de . chine, trimmed with radium lace, and! lined with shell pink. She wore a handembroidered' tulle veil, and carried a cream and pink bouquet. Attending 'her as bridesmaid 1 was M;i;ss Edna Lawrence, of Kopuarahi, who was dressed in salmon pink crepe de chine, trimmed with silver flowers. Her tulle veil was .adorned with a silver band and sliver leaves. Mrs J. .Terrill, of Ngatea, was matron of honour, being attired in a frock of coral crepe de chine. Mr L. Buckingham, of Ngatea, was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of Mr Stimps'on, Mns J. Terrill acting as hostess.

Leaving for the honeymoon, which is to be spent in Taranaki and Wellington, the bride wore a dress of fawn 1-qpp, trimmed with green, and a green tailored coat and hat to match.
