AURORA THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. THE BAD LANDS. Lovers of real action have a treat in store for them in Harry Carey as Sergeant O’Toole in “The Bad Lands,” to be screened to-night. Ca>‘ey is daring, romantic, and funny all in one. He knows his West and loves it. He knows its life and history far back, from the years of 1870, when the events depicted in “The Bad’ Lands’’ took place. It is one of the most unusual Western dramas thath as ever appeared on the screen. SATURDAY NIGHT. THREE MILES UP. War. which sometimes Frings out the best in bad men and the worst in good ones, has been used as a background for “Three Miles Up," to be presented to morrow night. A prewar crook returns as “ace” of ids regiment. His desire; to rid himself of old associates, and lead an honest life brings him into adventures more daring and dangerous than those of war times. COLLEGE DAYS. “College Days,” also on the prdg .ar.nne for 1 to-morrow night tells the story of a breezy young college b'oy who comes to one of the big Universities 'and soon makes himself known, to all the pretty co-eds, untT he meets the/ one. Many little kinkfc comq to mar t'heir love, making, which is finally unravelled by his brilliant playing in the college football team, in which he helps win the game for his Alma Mata and at the same time the girl. TURUA PICTURES* THE BRONCHO TWISTER. “The Broncho Twister,” showing at the Turua Hadi to-mofrow night, is said to be one of the most colourful of all recent Tom Mix features, packed with thrills, and running over with humour. There, is an exceptionally strong supporting cast. On the stage will also be seen Delroy and Delany in. song, dance, and stoKy. They are, a dancing and patter combination that would hold its own with, the world’s best. ROOKIES. “Rookies,” showing on Tuesday night, is. a rollicking comedy of training camp life, the rivalry, ructions, and romance revolving round an old soldier, a new recruit, an'd a pretty girl. It is side-splitting, rib-cracking comedy, with laughter from end to end.
