At the meeting of the Paeroa, Borough Council on Thursday the Mayor, Iteputy-Mayor, and Cr. F. E. Flatt of the finance committee) ■were appointed a sub-committee to •confer with the Ohinemuri County Council and make suitable arrangements for the opening of the new traffic bridge over the Ohinemuri ’River at Paeroa ; also that the Minister of Public Works (the Hon. K. S'. Williams) be asked to perform the opening ceremony.
