Public Notices. NOTICE RESPECTING PROPOSED CONSTITUTION OF THE DRAINAGE DISTRICT OF NETHERTON, COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS. Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, February 29, 1928. IT IS HEREBY NOTIFIED that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Gov-f ernor-General, under the Land Drainage Act, 1908, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be constituted a drainage district under the said Act by name the Netherton Drainage District. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed constitution of the said drainage district which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington. SCHEDULE. Area proposed to be constituted as Netherton Drainage District.

ALL THAT land in the Auckland Land District bounded as follows : — . Commencing at a point on the left bank of the Waihou River in line with the Northern boundary of lot 3 'on a plan deposited m the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 8682, thence by the left bank of the Waihou River to its junction with the left bank of the Ngahina Canal, thence by the left bank of the said Canal and again by the left bank of the Waihou River to its intersection by the z southern boundary of Waihou West No. 4B east Block, thence by the generally southern boundary of that block and Waihou West No. 4B west Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks, the western boundaries of Waihou West No. 4B West No. 2,4 D section 1,4 E: North No. 1 and 4A Blocks to the northernmost corner of Waihou West No. 4A Block, thence by the southern boundary of section 7, Block XV. Waihou- S.D. and' the southern and south-western boundaries of section 3 Block XV. aforesaid : thence in a northerly direction following a right line through section 1 Block XV. Waihou S.D. to a point on the northern boundary of the said section twenty chains distant from the northwestern corner of section 1 aforesaid, thence across a road and in an' easterly direction along the southern boundary of section 33 Block XI. Waihou S.D. to the south-eastern corner of section 33 aforesaid: thence in a northwesterly direction along the north-eastern boundary of section 33 Block XL Waihou S.D. to a point thirty-five chains distant from the south-eastern corner of that section, thence in a northeasterly direction by a right line making an angle of 90 degrees with the eastern; boundary of section 33 Block XI. Waihou S.D. for a distance of eight chains, thence in a north-westerly direction by a right line parallel to the eastern boundary of section, 24 Block XI. Waihou S.D. for a distance of thirty chains, thence in a south-westerly direction by a right line making an angle of 90 degrees with the western boundary of section 24 Block XI. Waihou S.D. for, a distance of eight chains to the south-western boundary of section 24. Block XL Waihou S.D., thence along the south-western boundary of section 24 aforesaid to the northwestern corner of that section l , thence in a south-westerly direction following the road on the north-western boundary of section 31 Block XL Waihou S.D. to a point opposite the south-west-ern boundary of section 27 Block XI. Waihou S.D., thence in a north-westerly direction across a road- and following the southwestern boundary of section 27 Block XI. Waihou S.D. to a point midway along that boundary, thence in a north-easterly direction by a right line to a point midway along the north-eastern boundary of section 26 Block XI. Waihou S.D., thence in a north-westerly-direction following the north-eastern boundary of section 26 Block XI. Waihou S.D. to the north-eastern corner of that section, thence in a north-easter-ly direction along the north-west-ern boundary of section 25 Block XL Waihou S.D. to the northeastern corner of that section, thence in a westerly direction along the southern boundaries of sections S 9, ElO, and WlO Block XI. Waihou S.D. to the southwestern corner of the said section WlO, thence in a northerly direction along the western boundary of section WlO aforesaid across a road and by the western boundaries of west portion of lot 5 Tahanui Block; and the north-western boundary of lot 4 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under number 5103 to a point in line with the south-western boundary of lot 2 on the aforesaid plan, thence across a road and by the south-western boundary of lot 2 aforesaid, thence by the northern boundary of that lot to. its intersection by the western boundary of Te Arawhakapekapeka Nos. 1 and 2A Blocks, the northern boundary of Te Arawhakapekapeka 2A Block to its intersection by the western boundary of lot 3 on a plan deposited as aforesaid under number 8682, thence by the western and northern boundaries of that lot across a public road and by the production of the northern boundary of lot 3 aforesaid to the point of commencement.
