, Public COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS NOTICE OF INTENTION TO BORROW. Loan of £5OOO over the Ngatea Riding Roads Loan Special Rating Area for the Constructioh of Roads therein as set out hereunder. PURSUANT to , Section 10 of “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” the provisions of Sec-tion-8 of “The Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926,” having been complied with, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN— ' 1. That it is- the intention of the Hauraki Plains County Council to borrow the sum of £5OOO for the construction of roads as set out hereunder:— (a) Rawe Rawe Canal Reserve Road (part) (b) Orchard West Road (part) * (c) Puhanga Canal Road West (d) Puhanga Canal Road East (e) Ngarua - Kaihere Road (part) 2. That as security for the pay' ment of interest and sinkihg fund and other charges on the said Loan, it is the intention of the said Council to make and levy a Special Rate of One Penny (Id) in the £ on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property in the Ngatea Riding Roads Loan Special Rating Roads Loan Special Rating Area.

3. That it is not the intention of the said Council to pay out of the Loan the costs of raising the Loan or the first year’s interest and sinking fund on the Loan. 4. That it is the intention of the said Council to establish a Sinking Fund of 3 per cent, per annum .for the repayment of the Loan, or alternatively* to repay the Loan by forty (40) halfyearly equal instalments of interest and principal. . 5. That the said Loan is for a period of twenty (20) years at a rate of interest not exceeding 6 per cent, per annum. The said Special' Rating Area includes the whole of Ngatea Riding as at present constituted, with the exception of the following:— t \ (a) All land included within the boundaries of the Kaihere - Torehape Roads Loan Special Rating Area. (b) Sections 2, 10, 11, and 12, Block XVI, Piako. (c) Lot 1 of Section 5, Block V, Waihou. (d) Section 6, Block V; Waihou. Dated at Ngatea this 6th day of March, 1928. ERNEST A.
