MATCHES WITH THAMEiS. TEAMS FOR TO-MORROW. The Hauraki Plains Cricket Association met at Ngatea .on Wednesday evening, Mr J. C. Miller presiding over Messrs R. D. Mackl a w, T. McKay, J. Finnerty, H. Oweqs, R. Cornthwaite, A. Bradley, C. Stretton, N. Hedges, and F. L. Wallis (hon. secretary)!. THE THAMES MATCHES.

Arrangements were made for the annual home and home matches with Thames, which are to be played tomorrow. The A teams will play at. Kopuarahi and the B teams at Turua. Messrs J. G. Miller and Hedges, senr., were appointed umpires. The teams Selected are as follows: —

A Team. —A. J. McDdnald, F. Woodbridge, R. D. Macklaw, C. Stretton, Rus. Green, B. Nolan, A. McPherson, H. Owens, N. Boyne, R. Connors, T. McKay. Emergencies: H. Dare and Thompson]

B Team. —H. Dare, Thompson, S. Phillips, T Walsh, A. McMillan, W. O’Neil, R. Cornthwaite, A. Cranston, L. Be’rney,' N. Hedges, H. Candy. Emergencies : E. Gill and F. U. Bell.

The Thames teams are as follows: A Team.—A. Shepherd, R. Cleave. A. Brokenshire, G. Buchan, J. Buchan, R. Buchan, Dr. Sowerby, E. Wells, A. Gorbey,’ G. Twentyman, F. Gib(Son. Emergencies: G. Mortimer.

B Team.—C. Hamerten, J. Fox, ERickit, K. Dare, M. Dare, G. Mortimer Crawford-Watson, J. Hill, R. Twentyman, R. Mcßae, A. Hodge. Emergencies : E. Griffin, H. Anderson, and E. Sterling. CLUB FINAL.

it was decided that the final of the inter-club competition between the Turua and the Waitakaruru teams, be played to a finish. iOn March 10th an innings will be played at Turua, and on the following Saturday the match will be completed at Waitakaruru. Messrs. T. McKay, of Kopuarafii, and D. McAulay, of Pipiroa, were appointed to referee. REPRESENTATIVE MATCHES. March 24 «r 31 will be suggested to the Waihi association as d'ates for the match at Waihi.
