HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report: — At the weekly stock sale iiu the Frankton yards on Tuesday last we had a good entry of fat cattle. Good quality prime beef sold up to the previous week’s rates, while plain and unfinished were eas’er. A small entry of fat sheep was submitted, and 1 all clasps sold firmer than other late markets. A full yarding of fat pigs came forward and showed a furthei increase in valued A short market of stores sold at slightly improved rates. Beef :Heavy fat bullocks £ll 10s ; medium fat steers, £9 15s, light and unfinished £7 15s ; good quality piime heavy cows £9 to £9 6s, medium prime £? to £8 9s, lighter prime £6 to £6 15s; plain ai?d unfinished cows £4 12s to £510s ; fresh-conditioned cow’s £4 to £4 10s, stores £2 4s to £3 5s ; dairy cows close to profit £8 to £lO.

Sheep : Good quality prime wethers Wld to 27s 7d ; prime young ewe o 23s ; black face lambs 24s 6d; fair fat woolly lambs 20s 3d 1 ; well-grown shorn store wether lambs 14s ; 4' and 6-tooth and 4 and 5-year ewes off hill country sold in a line realised 27s (equal ages).

Pigs : Heavy baconers £3 to £3 6s, medium £2 13s to £2 15s ; heavy porkers £2 to £2 6s, light 30s, to 35s ; slips 14s to 17s 6'd ; best weaners 9s tio 12s, others 5s to 6s.
