A mob of 3000 store sjteep from the North Wairoa district was seen on the Pakowhai road, en route to Hastings (says the Napier Telegraph). Considering the distance which they had travelled: during a few weeks, the sheep were., travelling well and appeared in fair'fettle. The motor lorry method of transportation has yet to supersede the old method for this class of stock. This is only one of flocks that have come . down from Poverty Bay and! (Wairoa the past two months).
