PRESENTATION.

Appreciation of: the services rendered by Miss L. McNamara among the people* of the Patetonga and Kaihere districts in her capacity as district’nurse under the Thames Hospital Board was evinced at a farewell social and dance in the Patetonga Hall last Friday evening, prior to her departure to take up a similar position in the Waipawa distret. There was a very large attendance, and Miss McNamara was presented with a travelling rug and a substantial cheque by Mr D. J. Rogers, chairman of the Medical Association, on behalf of the people of the district.
