The N.Z. Meat Producers’ Board has received a cable from its representative at Buenos Aires, Smith America, advising the followinlg shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended February 2, 1928, from Argentine and Uruguay: 229,718 quarters of ehilled beef, 24.052 quarters of frozen beef, 88,611 carcases of frozen mutton, 56,105 carcases of frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period was as follows: 85.472 quarters of frozen beef 11,143 carcases of frozen mutton,-and 4737 carcases of frozen lamb.
