WARDEN’S COURT.
MONDAY’S SITTING AT PAEROA. (Before Mr. F. W. Platts, Warden.) At the; Warden’s Court, Paeroa, on Monday, before Mr F. W. Platts, Warden, the Rising Sun Gold Mining Co., Ltd., was granted six months’ protection in terms of the Miniister’s Consent on the Rising Sun S.Q.C. No. 205 ; Special Site No. 7896 ; Rising Sun Extended S.Q.C. Not 8488 ; Veritas S.Q.C. No. 8351 ; and tramway license; No. 6908. The application of Mrs L. Neill for a residence site on section 1, Block X., Karangahake, area 1 rood 10' perches, was granted. 1 ( Hugh D. Bedford’s application for six months’ protection on the-Desert Gold special dredgiiig claim, No. 8967, was recommended to the Minister. The Imperial Gold Mining Co., Ltd. applied for a reduction of rent to 2s 6d an acre as from January 1 on the McDonald S.Q.C., No. 9428 ; Imperial S.Q.C. No. 208 ; arid Royal S.Q.C. No. 9256.—Recommended to the Minister. 1 Richard Craig applied for a reduction in rent to Is an acre for 12 months on Rawhiti S.Q.C. No. 9275. — Recommended to the Minister at 2s 6d an acreShmuel A. Shaw made a similar application on th# Golden Zone, S.Q.C. No. 9054, and the recommendation to the Minister was a reduction tb 2s 6d an acre. ( ' ’the Maoriland Consolidated, Ltd., applied for a reduction to 3s 9d an acre on the 'Maoriland S.Q.C. No. 9341. Ini this case the Warden said he would recommend to the Minister a reduction to 2s 6d an acre also.
