HAMILTON STOCK SALE.

The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— At the weekly stock sale; int the Frankton yards on Tuesday last we had a good yarding of fat cattle, fat and store sheep, and usual heavy yarding of pigs. Both steer and cow beef were firmer, than last week by 10s pe.r head. Prime ox beef sold equal to 30s per 1001 b, good cow and heifer beef to ; 26s pei’ 10'Olb ; prime light to fat steers £lO to £lO Ils, lighter steers, prime and young, £8 10s to £9 5s ; prime heavy cows £9 to £9 ss, lighter prime- £7 17s 6d to £8 10s ; good young cows and heifers £7 to £7 5s ; plain heavy cows £5 15s to £5 19s; potters £3 7s 6d to £4 ! ; store cows £2 10s to £3 ; 18-mo.nths in-calf heifers up to £6 2s 6d ; medium dairy cows £6 to. £B, inferior to £4.

Fat sheep sold without any improvement in values. Prime heavy wethers 28s ; fat wethers 24s tor 24s Gd, light 22s to 22s 6d ; heavy fat ewes 16s lid to 22s 6d, lighter 14s 9d to 15s 7d ; fat lambs 27s Id, medium weight 19s to 21s ; 4-year-old breeding ewes 23s z 7d, smaller framed and low in condition 17s 3d ; well-grown 2-tOQth ewes 26s 6d ; good,shorn wethej’ store lambs 13s 3d; medium black face store lambs 11s 8d ; medium white face lambs 10s 6d to 10s lid; cull lambs up to 7s lOd.
