The N.Z. Meat Producers’ Board has received a cable from its representative at Buenos' Aires, South America, advising that the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight endqd 19th January, 1928, from Argentine and Uruguay: 141,570 quarters chilled beef, 8,0’24 quarters frozen beef, 114’,000 carcases frozen mutton, ;and 82,576 carcases frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period was 82,300 quarters of frozen beef, 15,314 carcases of frozen mutton?, and 35 carcases lamb.
