MATCHES FOR TO-MORROW.

LOCAL TEAMS SELECTED. The Paeroa Lawn Tennis Club is to play two inter-club matches tomorrow. An A team goes to Hikutaia, while a B team travels to Te Aroha. Cars for both teams will leave the Bank of New Zealand corner at 1.30 p. m. sharp. The following have been selected to represent the A players :—

Misses V. Shand and J. Ellis; Mesdames G. ;and H. H. Bray; Messrs. D. G. McMlllair, H. Thorp, F. Thorp, G. Bluck, A. F. Steedman, arid L. Masters. The B team will, be: Miss. I. Taylpir, Mrs Pitts, Misses A. Argali and L. Thorp ; Messrs G. Wells, W. J. Simpsqin, C. N. O’Neill, R. J. Swann, A. P. Grant, and F.JJayward. The T 6 Aroha men’s team is: Lewis, Vickers, Scott. Barkman. Fyfe, and Heathcote. PLAINS MATCHES. HOWELL WILLIAMS SHIELD. Tho final match for the Howell Williams Memorial Shield will be played at Turua to-morrow, when the Patetonga team, the winners of the eliminating round, will play the Turua team, the holder’s of. the shield for the last two years. The Turua club will be without the services of Messrs Scott and Devereaux and Mesdames Clotworthy, Scott, arid Robinson, so there is a likelihood of the trophy changing hands.
