DEATH ON PLAINS.

PENSIONER DIES ON ROADSIDE. RESULT OF SENILE DECAY. A man named Thomas Brady, an old age pensioner, living on the Piihanga Canal Road, Ngatea, died on Monday evening. He was 74 years old, and was so weak that his. death was not unexpected. A flarmer had assisted him along the road during the day, being of opinion that he had been celebrating the Christmas season, apd had agreed, to the old man’s request, to let him lie down on the roadside for a rest. Some time later another farmer noticed that he was dead. An inquest was not necessary.
