HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-Operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report: — At F.ankton yards on Tuesday last we had a fair entry o f beef and fat sheep, and an average yarding of fat and store pigs. Both beef and mutton were firm and prices advanced on the previous week. There was no improvement in the price of fat pigs, but competition was good for stores and weaners.

Beef.—Heavy fat bullocks 12s 15s, light fat bullocks £lO 16s ; heavy fat cows £9 10s to £9 16s ; lighter £7 4s to £7 10s ; fat heifers £7 Is to £7 10s ; plain and unfinished cows £5 to £6 ; vealers £2 5s to £3 5s ; fresh store, cows £4 9s ; store cows £2 Ils to £3 5s ; choice dairy cows £lO 5s to £l4 10s ; choice, dairy heifers £9 to £ll 10s

Sheep.—Light fat wethers 26s ; fat lambs, prime, 25s to 25s Id; prime heavy fat ewes 24s to 25s Id ; plain and unfinished 20s ; forward 4-tooth wethers 25s to 25s 2d ; forward ejwes 17s.

Pigs.—Heavy baconers £2 10b to £2 13s, light baconers £2 5s to £2 8s ; porkers £2 2s to £2 10s ; good stores 33s to 395; slips 24s to 28s; best weaners 18s to 235, others 10s to 14s. PEDIGREE SALE The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report: — We held a most successful dealing sale of pedigree and grade Jersey cattle on Wednesday on account of Mr H. J. Ambury at Bruntwood, when every lot was sold. There yas an exceptionally large attendance, and bidd'ng was brisk. The Peidigree cattle sold well, and there was also very spirited bidding with the Pedigree Tamworth pigs. For the pedigree cows the highest price was 35 gns., which Mr T. Church, of Te Rapa, paid for the cow Thorneycroft Rhoda, while the same purchaser paid 34 guineas for Bruntwpod Majestic Lass. Mr J- T. Entwislc paid 32 gns for Golden Star of Rosycreek, and Mr T. Hastings of Te Awamutu 30 gns. for Rosey Cre.ek Fidel®. A number of other pedigree cows sold from 20 to 28 gns. The heifers also sold well, realising up to 21 gns., while this season’s Jqrsey heifer weaners sold from £3 15s to £5. Grade cows were in strong demand, and sold from £l5 to £27. The sale is one of the most successful we have held this season.
