Fine weather prevailed locally over the week-end. On Saturday particularly,. a strong westerly wind prevailed and made conditions out of doors rather unpleasant. Yesterday the weather was more agreeable, but after sunset heavy clouds banked in the sky and during the night several showers of light rain fell. This morning dawned fine, but several showers ftell before mid-day.
